PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB - Paul Owen of Slightly Different Nursery
For those who have not visited Paul's nursery outside Shelby, NC, you are truly missing one of the most picturesque gardens anywhere. Hopefully his discussion will inspire you to make the journey later this year. Paul originally began hybridizing daylilies in northern Pennsylvania, but relocated his garden to the foothills of North Carolina several years ago. Expect to see some "different" daylilies in this entertaining discussion. Paul is also bringing several plants for aution purposes following the presentation. PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB - John Bambach on Photography
John Bambach is an avid photographer and leads a Photo Interest Group at the Cornwell Community Center in Charlotte. The group is open to all and meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. In this discussion, John will present some of the basic principals of photography. While his focus will be on photographing plants and garden scenes, many of the principals will help to make all of your pictures better. Don't miss this informative presentation.

PIEDMONT DAYLILY CLUB - Member Showcase
This meeting is designed to allow our members to showcase a few of their favorite daylilies, seedlings or garden pictures. For those interested in participating, choose up to 12 photographs to share with the club. If possible, bring them to the March meeting on a memory stick or CD so that they can be pre-loaded before April's Showcase. Otherwise, plan to arrive early on the 17th. See you there!

The R15 "Hem-alina" Magazine
The Hem-alina is a Region 15 publication and newletter, published three times per year in a wonderful magazine form. Linda Sue Barnes is our new editor, and has been doing a great job in keeping it very popular and informative!
To get on the mailing list, one must be an AHS Member... which also will entitle you to the national publication known as the "Daylily Journal".
