Welcome to the website of the Piedmont Daylily Club. We hope that you find this site and the referenced links useful. The Piedmont Daylily Club meets monthly on the third Saturday of the month at Carmel Presbyterian Church. The address is 2048 Carmel Road in Charlotte, NC. No meetings are held in June, July, August, or December. Meetings begin at 9:00 A.M. with a light breakfast, followed by a short business meeting and our featured program. VISITORS ARE BOTH WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED!!!
Driving Directions
* From I-77 North or South, take the TYVOLA RD exit (EXIT 5).
* Go East on TYVOLA RD approximately 5 miles. (TYVOLA RD becomes FAIRVIEW RD)
* Turn RIGHT onto CARMEL RD
* Carmel Presbyterian Church is on the right at
the first stop light.
Club Membership Information
Club dues are $10 annually for an individual, or $15 per year for a family. Anyone interested in joining should send a check to:

Piedmont Daylily Club: Judy Davisson on the AHS Publication "Shapes of Distinction"
The Piedmont Daylily Club will share the new AHS publication titled "Shapes of Distinction" which will be narrated by Judy Davisson. This presentation is an introduction to the newest form, Sculpted, and includes the AHS official definitions with explanations, and images of all the official daylily shapes. The floor will be opened for questions and discussion following the Power Point presentation. This a great opportunity for our judges, new and old, to become acquainted with the new flower forms, and review the older ones. We are excited that Judy is willing to keep us abreast of the new forms and terms adopted by the AHS. Hope you will join us and learn as we do! |
