Region 15 was well represented at the awards ceremony at the 2005 National Convention in Cincinnati.

Helen Field Fisher Gold Medal - Ken Cobb

This is the AHS's highest honor, given to an individual for outstanding service to the AHS. The years winner is Ken Cobb, from the Raleigh Daylily Club. Ken has, among other things, served as AHS President and now serves as the AHS Archivist. We are proud to have him in our region.

Best Regional Newsletter - Kaye Arnold

This plaque is given to the editor of the newsletters determined to be the best from the previous year by a committee of three past AHS presidents and by the current AHS Board.
